After some time working in Scotland in general practice , Paediatric and maxillofacial dentistry along with volunteer work in Vietnam and Cambodia, she made the decision to move to Australia in 2009 and now calls this home.
Louise’s aim is to make the patient feel comfortable in the chair whilst tailoring treatment to patients needs and seeing there dentition as an integral part of their overall health.

She is committed to giving the upmost standard of care and her interests lie not only in the treatment of anxious patients but also in more complex dental work.
Seeing dentistry as a constantly evolving profession, she enjoys extending her skills and knowledge attending courses and is an active member of various dental associations.

Louise is passionate about the community and environment she lives in. When she’s not working, she loves to surf , ocean swim and ski when she can!

Dr Karl Batorski

Dr Batorski Graduated from Queen Mary Royal London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2016. Having spent some years in the United Kingdom he felt it was time to move to Australia. That was 7 years ago and he has never looked back since!

He spent some time in Perth (around 3 years) where he found his passion for digital dentistry. Specifically same day crowns and smile makeovers. He moved to Byron Bay 4 years ago and began my journey in cosmetic dentistry.

“My enjoyment comes from treating anxious patients who have struggled with dentists in the past and who have a phobia.”

His hobbies are swimming, F45 and becoming involved in the local community that is establishing around Byron.

Caitlin Wilkie

Caitlin graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2018. Since then she has been working full time as a Dental Therapist and Dental Hygienist. Sheis passionate about treating children and breaking down barriers of dental anxiety. Highlights of her dental experience so far include volunteering in the Northern Territory, participating in children’s dental therapy and oral health promotion services in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities of East Arnhem land.

Prior to working as an OHT she worked as a Dental Assistant for over eight years, which has essentially formed the foundation of her dental career.
Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends. She enjoys staying active, being outdoors, travelling, snowboarding and spending quality time at the beach.

Shari East

Shari began her dental career as a trainee nurse in Brunswick Holistic Dental Centre in June 2004. Like a duck to water, Shari excelled in her new role and quickly became the practice principals nurse, then head nurse. However her ability to multi task, the care and affection she shows towards patients (and staff), her attention to detail and her infectious, magnetic personality meant it wasn’t long before she was running the place!

I was an associate dentist in BHDC at the time and was lucky enough to witness the rising star and decided there and then that whatever I did in dental, it was critical to have Shari involved! I am lucky enough to have worked with Shari ever since.

As well as running the business behind the scenes, Shari is especially in her element front of house, liaising with patients and staff, ensuring everyone is happy and well looked after. The beating heart of the practice, her deep sense of community and her passion for the job is evident in the warmth and affection she shows towards everyone.

Outside of work Shari is super social, maintaining strong connections with friends and family, plays (and coaches) hockey and touch footy, and enjoys spending time with her family.
